Draft Strategy for Youth Work
The Scottish Government’s ambition is for “Scotland to be the best place in the world for children and young people to grow up”.
Young Scot is helping Scottish Government, Education Scotland and YouthLink Scotland explore young peoples views of the Draft Youth Work Strategy. The strategy has 5 key ambitions we would really appreciate your feedback on.
Youth work engages with young people within their communities and takes place in a variety of settings, including community venues, uniformed groups, schools, youth cafés, on the streets and many others. Youth workers are there to build self-esteem and self-confidence, create learning, develop skills and widen the experiences of young people.
All answers you give will be totally confidential.
As a thank you for your time, you can claim 25 Young Scot Reward points!
After we have asked for some general information, we will go through the ambitions statements one at a time. If you feel you are unable to answer a question then simply move on to the next one. If you wish to leave additional comments please do so – remember your opinion matters.
