Youth Commission on Smoking Prevention

The Youth Commission on Smoking Prevention (YCSP) is made up of a group of 18 young people who are working in partnership with the Scottish Government to lead a pioneering national investigation into Scotland’s relationship with smoking. The work of the Youth Commission is an action in the Scottish Government’s strategy to create a tobacco-free generation by 2034.

We have been participating in an exciting 12-month investigation into young people’s thoughts and habits around smoking to advise Scottish Government Ministers and important decision-makers on different ideas for bringing about future cultural change. By conducting a wide investigation, the YCSP aims to provide the Scottish Government with a series of recommendations and solutions on preventing young people from smoking in April 2014.

Before then we have lots of work to do and need to find out what other young people think about some of the issues we are looking in to. We would really appreciate if you could take the time to complete our survey. It is really important that as many young people as possible get a chance to influence our final recommendations.

It is important that you know that you can skip any questions you want. Your answers are confidential and will be kept safe. Also we do not ask for your name so you can't be identified from your answers so please be honest!

Thanks very much from the Youth Commission on Smoking Prevention!

As a thank you for your time, you can claim 50 Young Scot Reward points and you can enter into a competition to win a £50 Ticketmaster voucher!!!
